Day 01: Arrival at Delhi
We will arrange a pick up for you from the airport or any hotel. Drive to Agra
city in an air condition comfortable vehicle. The drive is for about 03 Hrs drive
via Yamuna expressway. Reach Agra city and meet our representative, who will help
you in check-in procedure at the hotel and then take some rest. Start the sightseeing
of the beautiful monuments of Agra and visit Taj Mahal which is listed as one
of the seven wonders of the world. It is the marble marvels, the ultimate requiem of
love, a gift to his beloved wife, symbol of love built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan.
Later on, proceed for a workshop where you will experience a demonstration of Marble
inlays Art, (the splendid craft of Agra) the same technique of marble art done on Taj
Mahal.
Visit Agra Fort, also known as Red Fort, built by various Mughal rulers. The
fort is a live testimony of the great Mughal Architecture in India. The Fort, which is
situated on the banks of Yamuna River, is listed under UNESCO World Heritage site. The
fort is also known as Lal Qila.
Enjoy the lunch and visit the tomb of Etmad-ud-Daulah which is a Mughal mausoleum in the
city of Agra. The monument is often described as a "jewel box", sometimes called the
"Baby Taj". The tomb of Etmad-ud-Daulah is often regarded as a draft of the Taj Mahal.
By evening, you are free for leisure activities on your own where you can stay at your
hotel, OR ELSE, you can enjoy unending shopping of Indian handicrafts, in the city.
Agra's major handicraft products besides inlay work are: Indian spices, leather items,
brassware, carpets, jewellery and embroidery work etc. Overnight stay at Agra.
Day 02: Day Trip (Agra to Chambal Safari)
Have breakfast at the hotel & Drive to Chambal Safari. You will enjoy the tour
of Chambal by watching birds, Skimmer, ruddy shelduck, Red-crested Pochard, gharials
(a species of crocodile), cranes birds, tortoise etc. Enjoy 1-2 hours boating in Chambal
river where you will spot Marsh Crocodiles, the endangered Dolphin and Tortoise.
Drive back to Agra and enjoy the lunch. You may relax for some time after lunch.
After this, choose options from an Indian Home visit with Cooking Demo OR a Sunset View
of Taj Mahal.
For sunset view of Taj Mahal, visit Mehtab Bagh from where you can see nice view
of Taj Mahal by sunset across the river Yamuna.
For Indian Home Visit, you do a visit to an indian home where you may experience Indian
culture & apply henna on your hand along with diner. Cooking demonstration is one such
activity that has recently been incepted to give an insight of the variety of flavours
and peculiarities of Indian recipes. This fun-filled activity not only includes a cooking
demo by our skilled female chef but also a warm meal with an Indian family where you will
get an opportunity to interact and understand the Indian culture, values and traditions
from different perspective.
After this, you may roam around the city on your own. Back to your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 03: Departure - Agra to Delhi City
Check out the hotel after having the breakfast. Drive to Delhi in a comfortable A/C car.
Reach Delhi and straight head to Qutab Minar (the tallest stone tower in India)
which is now listed under UNESCO World Heritage sites.
Visit Humayun's Tomb which is the tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun followed by
visiting the Lotus Temple which is also known as a Bahai house of worship.
Later drop will be arranged to Delhi airport or any respective destination/location.
