Day 01 : Arrival at Delhi and transfer to Gwalior (Train)
Pick up from Delhi airport or Hotel, transfer to Railway station to catch
train for Gwalior. Meet our representative at Gwalior station who will greet
you to assist you further. Check-in the hotel and take rest. Visit the famous
Gwalior Fort and Shashtrabahu Temple. Visit Tansen Tomb
and Jai Vilas Palace. Back to your respective hotel for overnight stay.
Day 02 : Gwalior to Dholpur
After breakfast, check-out and drive to Dholpur. Reach Dholpur and check-in
the hotel. Visit Garhi Padawali which is actually an old Vishnu temple
later was named into Garhi and since it is surrounded by Hills, hence GarhiPadawali.
This temple was built by Pratihara dynasty of the 10th century A.D., the
fortification around it was built by the Jat Ranas of Gohad in the 19th century.
Visit Mitvali Temple. It was nice view at Mitvali temple. Though people
say Indian Parliament House's design is inspired by this Temple but as per further
findings, it appears to be the coincidence. Visit Kakanmath Temple which
was commissioned by Kachchhapaghata ruler Kirttiraja (r.c. 1015-1035 CE). This
can be inferred from a Kachchhapaghata inscription found at the Sas-Bahu Temple
in Gwalior. The inscription states that Kirttiraja built an extraordinary temple
devoted to Parvati's lord (Shiva) at Simhapaniya (modern Sihoniya). By evening,
back to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 03 : Chambal River for Yoga and Drive to Agra
Leave hotel at 9 AM for morning Yoga at Chambal river front. Tourists will be
served with Chambal Traditional breakfast at Chambal shores under the beautiful
Sunshine. Drive to Agra, en-route, visit the Bateshwar Temple. Reach Agra
City and meet our representative, who will help you in check-in procedure at the
hotel. After taking some rest and refresh, visit Itimad-ud-Daulah which
is a Mughal mausoleum in the city of Agra. Often described as a "jewel box",
sometimes called the "Baby Taj", the tomb of Itimad-ud-Daulah is often regarded
as a draft of the Taj Mahal. Visit Mehtab Bagh from where you can see nice
view of Taj Mahal by sunset across the river Yamuna. Visit Indian Home and
enjoy dinner as well as henna. Watch the Indian culture closely. Back to your
hotel for overnight stay.
Day 04 : Agra
Early in the morning, visit Taj Mahal for sunrise view and experience
the beauty of the monument. One of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Taj
Mahal - the marble marvels, the ultimate requiem of love, from a great Mughal
Emperor to his beloved wife, symbol of love was built by Emperor Shah Jahan.
Back to hotel and enjoy your breakfast. Then, proceed for demonstration of
Marble inlays Art (the splendid craft of Agra) where you can experience the
same technique of marble art done on Taj Mahal. Visit Agra Fort, which
has served as a cantonment to Mughals, British and Indian Army. Visit the
famous museum in Agra which is famous for its embroidery work and different
types of old jewelleries of Mughal period. It's a place called "Kohinoor".
The name has been mentioned in the book called National Geographic. After lunch,
you can experience local view in a rickshaw or Tonga ride. In evening, you are
free for local marketing of Handicraft, Indian species, etc. Back to your hotel
for overnight stay
Day 05 : Delhi Departure
After breakfast, check-out and drive to Delhi Via Yamuna expressway. Drop in Delhi
at your respective place or airport.
